Danielle Saeva

Danielle Saeva is an artist, muralist, and art educator based in Buffalo New York. She received her BFA from Buffalo State University in 2019 with a minor in Art Therapy, and was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Art and Design. She has since worked for local art nonprofits and has a passion for art accessibility and education. She believes art is for everyone and has the ability to heal, and she works with many underserved populations who have little access to art.

Her paintings and murals can be seen in galleries and businesses across Western New York. She received Buffalo Spree’s Best New Mural Award in 2024 for her mural “Garden” located in the Lafayette Court Building in Downtown Buffalo. Danielle works primarily in oil paint, but utilizes collage, performance, and installation to create immersive, narrative driven bodies of work. Her art explores themes of personal and collective experience, psychology, and spirituality. Her goal is for viewers to experience her work as a mirror in order to promote reflection, connection, and healing.
